Bad Weather Provision

We will always make every effort to keep Heytesbury School open, but extreme weather or loss of essential services could necessitate a closure.

Please find below our emergency closure procedure:

• We aim to make any decision not to open made between 7am – 7.30am.
• We will only make an announcement if the school is to be closed.
• An announcement will be made on this website.
• When applicable an announcement will be made on BBC Wiltshire radio.
• An message will be sent to parents.

Please do not ring the school for information unless absolutely necessary.
